Hakone Academy sends its captain and sprinter Izumida against Kyoto Fushimi’s Kishigami Komari, the man obsessed with Izumida’s “ultimate muscles!” Izumida recalls how Ashikiba and Kuroda encouraged him when he lost the previous year’s Inter-high and felt conflicted about whether or not he was worthy of captaining the team.
